Vicky Lennon - Biography

Vibrant colors and rich textures explode on the surface of Vicky’s non-objective work. Her paintings are always a process. She works intuitively as the image evolves.  Varied layers of glazing give lushness and depth, while the addition of mediums helps to create the textures that emerge in the final image. Vicky works pushing and pulling shapes, surfaces, and colors, until she is excited with the uniqueness of each piece.

Her works can be found in the collections of Florida State College at Jacksonville, Edward White Hospital, St. Petersburg Fl., Lake City Community College, Fl., Duval Eye Associates, and North American Mortgage and many private collections throughout the United States. One person shows for this award-winning artist include Jewish Community Alliance, Jacksonville Golf and Country Club, Lake City Community College, Limelight Theatre, The Alhambra Theatre, The Berdy Dental Group, Florida State College of Jacksonville, North Campus, and the Florida State College of Jacksonville, Baymeadows Campus.  Her works were also stage props for the play Social Security starring Barbara Eden (I Dream of Jeannie) at the Alhambra Dinner Theatre.
